Waterspray Overpressure Retort

The KM Steam and Waterspray Overpressure Retort with Thermal Process Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) is designed for thermal processing of various container types, including aluminum retortable pouches, glass jars, and plastic or aluminum containers.

Directed steam injection combined with continuous waterspray from the top and sides ensures homogeneous heat distribution throughout the vessel during both sterilization and cooling.

Temperature and overpressure are independently programmable and PID-controlled, with process data recorded through a circular chart recorder.

Overpressure can be programmed throughout the heating and cooling cycle to minimize stress on container seals, while processing programmes are stored within the PLC memory for consistent and repeatable operation.
