TABLET TOOLS DIVISION - TOOL CLEAN

Aimed at enhancing the life span of tablet tooling, Parle Elizabeth offers tool clean, a comprehensive kit for tablet punch and die polishing. The tool clean kit for tablet punch enables companies to maintain tablet tooling properly. The tool clean kit of tablet punch facilitates pharmaceutical companies to effectively inspect and maintain tablet tooling, tool clean helps to clean critical areas of punches & dies, punch tip, embossed lettering, die bore, with the help of number of components provided with the tool clean box, it helps to remove burr on the tip edges. Tool care is one of the major areas of concern when it comes to achieve more than a perfect tablet. Damages which can occur at the time of handling and storage can lead to improper tablets and in process can damage the press parts including the dies bore. Damages beyond repair can lead to heavy cost involvement due to complete replacements of punches

1		Motorized chuck unit with key It consists of a break motor with a 3-jaw self centering chuck. The entire assembly is enclosed in an adjustable safety guard with a limit switch for prevention of accidents. It is used in conjunction with the pneumatic grinder. Motor Rating : Instant stoppage of motor in case of opening of safety guard. Motor rating – 0.37 KW, 415 V, 3 Phase,50 Hz.
2		Double ended polisher with buff wheels It is used for polishing of punch bodies and outer surfaces of dies. Motor rating – 0.25 KW, 230 V, 1 phase, 50 Hz with adaptors on both sides.
3		Pneumatic grinder with spanner set L.P. air at 5 bar pressure is used to operate the grinder at a very high speed of 25000 RPM. It ensures a good finish on punches & dies.
4		Micro polishing powder It is mixed with grease to form a paste for effective polishing of punch tips and die bores using felt bobs / nylon brush wheels.
5		Diamond paste syringe It is used for polishing of punch tips using brass brush wheels. The paste consists of Industrial Petroleum Jelly/ Grease, Liquid Paraffin and Cubic Boron Nitride.
6		Grease It is mixed with micro polishing powder and is applied on punch tip faces for polishing them using nylon brush /felt bobs.
7		Lapping stick It is made up of hard carborandum and is used for removal of burr on punch tip face.
8		Felt Bob Dome, conical and circular shaped felt bobs are used with the pneumatic grinder for polishing of punch tips and die bores. Micro polishing powder and / grease is used alongwith felt bobs.

10		Emery Roll Used for removal of burr if any on punch stem and outer surface of dies.
11 & 12		Brass brush wheel Circular shaped brass brush wheels are supplied to be used with pneumatic grinder for removal of pits and discoloration on the punch tips, if any. Diamond paste is used for this purpose. Nylon Вrush wheel Used with pneumatic grinder for polishing of punch tips having embossed letters and / breaklines (bisect lines).
13 & 14		Punch guide “B” & “D” nylon brushes Nylon and brass brushes are supplied for cleaning of punch guide on the turret of tablet compression machine.
15		Eye glass Magnifying glass is used for inspection of punch tip faces.
16		SS machine body with additional accessories kit An elegant looking steel box is provided for housing of all components of the Punch Polishing Kit.
