Tool Care Systems & Seminars
Parle Tablet Tools manufactures and offers complete tool care system by using state of the art technology and personalized Customer Care Company is on the constant drive to provide latest tools for maintaining tablet toolings. Proper maintenance and upkeep (storage) are the two vital aspects of the tool maintenance that ensure excellent tablet finish and better productivity.
Proper maintenance is the most important factor in maximizing the life of punches and dies.
Maintaining tooling also minimizes many compression problems such as,
Variations in tablet weight and thickness
- Picking
- Sticking
- Capping of tablets
Punches and dies removed from the press should be cleaned and inspected before any maintenance is performed. An ultrasonic bath is ideal for cleaning tooling. If another system is used, the liquid cleaner should be nontoxic and should not cause rust.
After cleaning, tooling must be handled carefully to prevent moisture from the operator's fingers remaining on the tooling and causing rust. The most important factor in tooling maintenance is the delicate nature of punch tips.
Although a punch tip is designed to withstand several tons of pressure in a press, it is very easily damaged by the slightest contact with a hard surface.
Therefore, a punch tip should never come in contact with
- any part of another punch, whether in the press, on a bench, or in storage
- any part of the press
- any metal tools or equipment such as a vice, polishing unit, etc., and
- any part of a metal storage container.
Our products Tool Checker, Tool Clean and Tool Storage have become an indispensable part of major pharma companies in the country, today. We also give infromation on the operation handling of the tooling. |
